Pay With Lovin' at McDonald's Around Santa Cruz County
Starting today, the restaurant chain will accept "Acts of Lovin'" -- like a fist bump -- as a form of payment to random customers.
McDonaldβs Restaurants around Santa Cruz County and across the United States will be launching its βActs of Lovinββ campaign on Feb. 2, allowing random customers to exchange fist bumps and high-fives for food products.
The Pay with Lovinβ campaign strives to show consumers that a little lovinβ can change a lot, according to a spokesperson for the campaign, with the event coinciding with the chainβs Super Bowl ad. Some lucky customers will be selected through a βrandomized process at predetermined timesβ and offered the option of paying for their order with an act of Lovinβ instead of cash.
The campaign runs from Feb. 2, to Feb. 14, and of course, there are some officials rules.
