Poll: Should Scooters Be Allowed at the Skatepark?

After a that drew a large number of community members, the majority of them kids and teenagers, the scooter/skateboard issue has turned into a hot topic. At the heart of it is whether or not scooters should be allowed at the skatepark. Skateboarders say no because the scooter riders are often very young and don't know or follow park rules and etiquette. Scooter riders say that the skateboarders are often mean and bullying and that they are just trying to use the park for fun like everyone else.

The city council will discuss the matter on Feb. 1. What do you think? Should the community park be open to both types of riders?
