Scotts Valley Residents Wrap Up an Eventful Summer
Local residents share their fun summer experiences.
This summer has flown by. It’s hard to believe that it’s the end of August and our kids headed back to classrooms this week. For many, there is a mixture of joy and sadness with summer fun coming to an end.
In the spirit of summer, I hit the streets to find out what locals had to say about their favorite summer activities.

Cool Spotlight
On Thursday afternoon, eight girls, and their coach Erik Wyner, from the Scotts Valley High School Cross Country Team ran 7.6 miles up Mt. Charlie Road to the summit off Highway 17. This run will officially kick off their 2011 season.
