• Port powers green truck corridor connecting key trade hubs (ajot.com) — Shafter is set to become a key endpoint of a new Green Truck Corridor linking the Wonderful Logistics Center with the Port of Long Beach, bringing more zero-emission freight traffic and charging infrastructure to town. The agreement between the port, The Wonderful Company, and Lincoln Transportation Services aims to cut truck pollution while strengthening the Central Valley’s connection to global trade through Shafter’s 2,000-acre logistics hub.
