'American Horror Story' Actor Hit By Car on Hollywood Boulevard

Actor Ben Woolf was critically hurt when struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Hollywood.

Actor Ben Woolf was hit by a vehicle and critically injured as he crossed a street in the Hollywood area, authorities said today.

The accident occurred at Hollywood Boulevard and Gramercy Place about 9 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations office.

Woolf was hit in the head by the mirror of the vehicle, Madison said. The motorist stopped at the scene and was not cited or arrested, he said.

A cast member on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” Woolf, who is 4 feet 4 inches tall, was jaywalking when he was struck in the head by the mirror of a passing SUV, the celebrity news website TMZ.com reported.
