Truck Fire On I-405 Shuts Down Lanes, Prompts SIGAlert
A truck hauling a trailer of hay caught fire Tuesday afternoon, shutting down several lanes on I-405.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Several lanes on southbound I-405 will remain closed for several hours south of Sherman Oaks Tuesday afternoon, following a truck fire.
A semi truck hauling a trailer of hay through the Sepulveda Pass caught fire shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The driver pulled over and firefighters later extinguished the fire.
All lanes were briefly shut down, and a SIGAlert was issued shortly before 1 p.m. Two lanes on southbound 405 had reopened as of 1:30 p.m.
