The movin’ and groovin’ band, STEEN and Friends, was formed right after the CD, “STEEN,” was recorded. Bill credits co-writer and co-producer, Mark Moulin (“VISIONARY,” “Shirlee,” “More Than a Miracle,” “The Electric Prunes”) for gathering together a stellar A-List lineup of celebrated musicians.

Mixing for STEEN was by Johno Brown (Jefferson Starship); and Photography by Henry Diltz (Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, The Eagles, American, Jackson Browne).
Subsequently, Bill started performing throughout the San Fernando Valley. Some of the most amazing singers and musicians in the industry would stop by, sit in, and create a warm, loving, friendly musical community.
Bill says his favorite part of taking the stage is “seeing the room rise with such incredible talent and watching all the smiling faces out there.”
Edelstein has been playing since he was 13, after receiving his first guitar. He followed the styles of acoustic folk and country rock during the heyday of the 70’s in appreciation and admiration of America, The Eagles, Crosby, Still, Nash, and Young, to name a few of his heroes.

According to Bill, Lakeside Cafe is a casual, yet elegant restaurant with a fantastic layout. “Eventhough it’s all on one level,” he reveals, “it’s layered so that the front area is an open lounge followed by the bar and food area.”
There’s also a secluded dining area and an open patio garden for dining outside, overlooking the lake at the infamous Los Encinos Historic Park. Edelstein believes it’s the perfect place for enjoying music and dining with an open air feeling.
Edelstein recommends that aspiring musicians get out there and express themselves at open mics and talent nights.
“Someone is going to notice you,” he affirms, “especially since we live here in Los Angeles, the musical Capitol of the World.”
