City Council Unanimously Votes to Approve Chabad Development
After Koretz announced his support, a quick vote approved the project.
The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to approve the Chabad House development at Chandler Blvd. and Ethel Street in Sherman Oaks.
The approximately 70 members of Chabad in attendance burst into cheers when their victory was announced.
After Councilman Paul Koretz spoke in favor of the project moving forward, the entire council quickly voted in favor of Chabad, with no votes against.
