Four Suspects Sought in Cal State Northridge Attack
The attack took place at the University Village Apartments just off the campus.

One suspect was arrested and four others were being sought in an assault on a resident of the University Village Apartments just off the campus of Cal State University Northridge, authorities said today.
The assault occurred Monday at 12:51 p.m. at 17819 Merridy St., just east of the University Village Apartment complex, which is on the campus, according to CSUN’s Department of Police Services.

Five assailants were involved and as two of them fled, one of the remaining assailants commented to a relative of the victim: “You better get him out of here because they are going to come back shooting.”
No gun was observed, according to CSUN police.

The name of the suspect who was arrested was not immediately available.
Anyone with information on the assault was asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division at (818) 832-0633.
