Health Department Restaurants Closures Around Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS, CA -- Vermin infestations were overwhelmingly responsible for health department restaurant closures in Sherman Oaks and surrounding neighborhoods over the last couple months.

In all, vermin forced the closure of 1 Sherman Oaks restaurant, two in Studio City and six in North Hollywood.

Most restaurants that are closed for critical violations reopen within a few days after correcting the problem that forced the closure. But beyond major violations that force immediate closure are minor infractions that produce unsanitary conditions which could lead to outbreaks of foodborne or viral illnesses.
