Man Goes Over Cliff to Save His Dog
A man in Porter Ranch proved to be a dog's best friend when he went over a cliff to save his pooch. Ultimately, they both needed rescuing.

A Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter hoisted a man and his dog up a cliff in Porter Ranch after he went down the cliff to save his pet, then couldn’t get back up, a fire official said today.
The rescue occurred in the 18900 block of Braemore Road about 9:50 p.m. Sunday, said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Erik Scott.
Neither the man nor the dog were injured, but they had been unable to hike up the steep cliff, Scott said.
