
A man believed to be about 60 years old died following a two-vehicle collision in Van Nuys, police said today.
The accident happened at Sherman Way and Woodman Avenue about 11:15 p.m. Monday, said Los Angeles police Officer E. Hansen. The man was transported from the scene of the crash and either died en route to the hospital or at the hospital, he said.
Both he and the other driver were the only ones in their vehicles, Hansen said. The other man was not transported to the hospital.

The investigation indicated that the man who died made a left turn in front of the other motorist when he was struck, the officer said.
