Plans For 249-Unit Sherman Oaks Apartment Building To Be Unveiled
Plans for IMT/Sunkist's proposed 249-unit apartment building will be introduced for community inout Thursday

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — New development plans for the IMT/Sunkist project will be shared at the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council (SONC) Land Use Committee meeting to be held Thursday at the Sherman Oaks Public Library.
The IMT/Sunkist proposed development is a mixed-use residential and commercial project that would be on the site of the Sunkist building on the corner of Hazeltine and Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks.

Neighborhood activists, the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association (SOHA) as well as SONC have worked with IMT to revise the original plan which called for 298 apartments and a six-story parking structure. The revised plan, supported by Councilman David Ryu and the neighborhood council creates 249 apartments and includes a publicly accessible greenspace, traffic accommodations and other aesthetic considerations.
The new plan will be unveiled and the public will be encouraged to express their opinions at Thursday’s meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at the library, located at 14245 Moorpark St. in Sherman Oaks.
