Police Blotter: 3 Violent Crimes, 25 Property Crimes
Over the past three months, Sherman Oaks averaged 2.3 violent crimes and 35 property crimes per week, according to police figures compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

In the seven days between March 25 and March 31, violent crime reports were about average and property crime reports fell, according to data from the Los Angeles Police Department compiled by the Los Angeles Times
Over the last three months, Sherman Oaks averaged 2.3 violent crimes and 35.7 property crimes per week.
This week's rate of 4.3 crimes per 10,000 people is higher than in nearby Bel-Air, Brentwood, Studio City, Encino, Van Nuys and Valley Village and lower than Beverly Crest and Valley Glen. A 2008 population estimate of 65,436 from the L.A. Department of City Planning is used to calculate per-capita totals.
