Slam-Dunk The Junk on Valley Glen Clean-Up Day
Valley Glen's annual half-day event is clean fun for a good cause!

Help slam-dunk the junk on November 15th’s Valley Glen Neighborhood Association’s Annual Clean-Up Day and enjoy a free lunch!
The annual project is conducted in partnership with Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Krekorian, the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood and Van Nuys Police Stations and the City of Los Angeles’ Bureau of Sanitation.
The half-day project will start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude around noon. Volunteers will meet at L.A. Valley College in southwest parking lot A bordered by Burbank and Fulton.

Volunteers will organize into driving teams. Armed with cell phones and note pads, they will drive their sectors to identify and call in abandoned junk, bulky items, used furniture, cast-offs and other litter as well as graffiti to the volunteer command center staffed by the North Hollywood and Van Nuys LAPD officers. With notifications in hand, the Bureau of Sanitation will follow-up and remove all of the reported items.
Anyone wishing to sign up can leave a message at 818-785-5525 or email the Valley Glen Neighborhood Association at info@waltonamanion.com. There will be free coffee and donuts for volunteers courtesy of Lusy’s Mediterranean Café & Grill and a free lunch served at the conclusion of the project.
