THE NIGHT HAS 1000 EYES

It has been about 6 months since my husband died --the nights are still the worst. Strange what changes occur that seem to be automatic or is it that the your mind is protecting you without your permission. Two things I noticed almost immediately after my husband died- was the inability to sleep and the need for constant ,as he would call it:"noise."  I keep theTV on- but only to programs that he would not have watched or that we would not have watched together. Sure, I am strong enough to turn it off--but there was great comfort in the "noise." I am sure each person reacts differently the the lose of someone that have been with for most of their lives..  I sure hope the nights will get better......
