Two Arrested in Fatal Sherman Oaks Stabbing

A man in his 20s was fatally stabbed in Sherman Oaks tonight and two men were taken into custody.

Police were called to the scene in the 15000 block of Dickens Street, south of Ventura Boulevard between Kester and Noble avenues, about 6:45 p.m., said Officer Julie Sohn of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.

The assault occurred near an apartment complex. Neither the victim nor the suspects were residents in the complex, LAPD Lt. Jim Gavin said.

There were no outstanding suspects, Gavin said.
