Two Pedestrians Injured in Pileup Crash

Two pedestrians were critically injured today and two occupants of a compact car were also hurt in a multi-vehicle collision near the Winnetka area.

The collision occurred in the 8300 block of Winnetka Avenue at 1:50 p.m., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. He said at least three vehicles were involved.

A 40-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl were critically injured, according to Humphrey.

A 61-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were in fair condition when transported to hospitals, he said.
