Meet us at Wine Jazz Fest, Oct. 27 4-7pm, Corfu owner, Amy, will offer massages for tips. Paul Hagenmayer will offering free acupressure treatments for tips as well.

In Sierra Madre, we know Village Yoga Center as the intimate and personal Yoga Studio space in the courtyard at 24 W. Sierra Madre Blvd.  With small classes, its skilled teachers are dedicated to teaching yoga with the needs and desires of their students in mind.  It is nestled in a courtyard of shops which includes B.la Gifts, Alden Hair Design, Mountain View Sushi, The Hair Upstairs, and Beauty Bee Studio. Over the last few weeks, we've had some seriously uplifting Yogi renovations and Feng Shui taking place at the center, thanks to the arrival of Brittany Tatum-Flores.   Brittany is a mother, a yogini, a writer, to name a few of her daily activities, and she has a professional background which includes running a family owned Kenpo Karate Martial Arts Studio (Larry Tatum's Kenpo Karate Studio), a style in which she holds a First Degree Black Belt. Brittany plans to teach an "All Levels" class on Saturdays at 3pm.

These changes are ongoing. The studio intends to hire more teachers, adding more classes, including classes in meditation and workshops on positive manifestation.

Founder Tana Marlow opened this studio with the intention of creating a true “village.”  As she says, "It is our hope you find not only a strong physical challenge through our yoga classes but also a true community where you can challenge yourself to grow personally. Our teachers are here to help you build a yoga practice that serves your needs and lifestyle. Whether you are just starting out or looking to advance your practice to the next level, 'The Village' has a class for you."
