Over 3,000 items, including jewelry and valuable property, have been recovered by LAPD. Now, officials are urging residents who have been burglarized over the past two years to view and possibly claim them.
Sheriff's officials are urging those who have been burglarized over the past two years to consider viewing 3,000 recovered stolen items online or at a public display Tuesday at Los Angeles Police Department Headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles to see if the property belongs to them.
Victims of jewelry or property burglary can visit this website to see the items and can file an affadavit with LAPD to possibly retreive them, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Debra Herman of the .
It's unclear where the jewelry came from in Los Angeles County, but victims throughout Southern California could find missing items, Herman said. These items could date back to about two years ago.

Investigators from West Valley Burglary recovered more than 3,000 items of jewelry and other items in an investigation related to the "Knock Knock" burglaries.
