The stereotype is that only women are abused, but men are as well. Men consider it unmanly to complain about a woman's rage. In my classes, when I mention a man's being abused by a woman, they snicker and laugh. Men have the right to be safe and, I believe, they should seek help when anyone is abusive toward them.
