• Fire destroyed this TV western town, but a rebuild is nearly complete (vcstar.com) — Rebuilding at Paramount Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains is nearly finished, restoring a beloved filming location not far from Simi Valley that was devastated by the 2018 Woolsey Fire. With new, more fire-resistant buildings, the site is expected to reopen early next year, marking both its centennial and a symbolic recovery for nearby communities affected by the blaze that started near Simi Valley.
