Guys (stereogum.com) — Solana Beach is on Stef Chura’s fall tour map, with a Belly Up date announced as she returns after seven years with her new album “Dancing Alone On The Concrete.” The record features indie heavyweights like producer Robert Schneider and R.E.M.’s Peter Buck and Mike Mills, who appear on the lead single “Danny,” ahead of a run opening for Dinosaur Jr.
   

• Petition seeks 15 Freeway express lanes in Temecula-Murrieta area (sbsun.com) — Solana Beach Mayor Lesa Heebner, in her role leading SANDAG, says the agency’s near-term focus for the I-15 corridor is a new rapid bus between Temecula, Escondido and San Marcos, with express lanes still unfunded and years away. A Murrieta commuter’s petition is pressuring Riverside and San Diego transportation officials to speed up adding express lanes on the chronically jammed freeway, which many North County and inland residents use daily.
