Apply For Cannabis Prevention/Education Grant To Implement Spanish Language Parent Workshops In Sonoma County

Non-profit community-based organizations with bilingual Spanish speaking staff or capacity to recruit are encouraged to apply.

The Sonoma County Dept. of Health Service, Behavioral Health Division, is currently accepting applications to deliver Cannabis Prevention/Education Parent Workshops in Spanish.

The major goal of the funding is to raise awareness about the impact that cannabis could have on brain development and explore ways for parents to best approach conversations with young people at different stages of development. Non-profit community-based organizations with bilingual Spanish-speaking staff or capacity to recruit Promotores de Salud (community health workers) are encouraged to apply.
