AVENTINE GLEN ELLEN PRESENTS: MASI TASTING DINNER
Chef's Five-Course Tasting Menu and Five Wines

Glen Ellen’s newest distinguished restaurant, Aventine Glen Ellen is pleased to present a special Masi Tasting Dinner. Chef Adolfo Veronese will provide a 5-course dinner menu with five Masi wine parings on Thursday, February 5 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Special guest for the evening is Raffaele Bosciani, General Coordinator of Masi Technical Group, Marketing Director and Global Brand Ambassador. The cost for the evening is $85 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (707) 934-8911.

After studying land surveying, Raffaele earned an advanced degree from the Wine and Spirit Educational Trust in Great Britain. Before entering the family business, Raffaele gained on- and off-premise wine experience in the U.K. working at Berkmann’s Wine Cellars and Oddbins, the well-known wine & spirits retail chain. For several years, Raffaele has been general coordinator of the Masi Technical Group, a team of wine professionals representing a variety of disciplines including enology, agronomy and marketing. The technical advances and high quality of Masi wines can be attributed to the ongoing efforts of the Masi Technical Group. Raffaele has recently been named marketing director at Masi. Along with father Sandro and sister Alessandra, Raffaele is a global brand ambassador for Masi who covers the markets of North and South America and Europe. He has also been a speaker at the annual Society of Wine Educators conference. Since 2003, he has been a member of the Super Jury for the International Wine Challenge in London.
Raffaele was a board member for the young businessmen’s association, the Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria di Verona, from 2007-2010. In 2011, he became President of the food business association, the Raggruppamento Agroalimentare di Confindustria Veneto. In addition, Raffaele is a board member of Unione Italiana Vini, part of the committee that oversees the impartiality of Siquria (the Italian organization that monitors the quality and traceability of foodstuffs) and part of the Seminario Permanente Luigi Veronelli.
Aventine Glen Ellen has wonderful weekly specials. Their Taste Tuesdays Menu features free bar appetizers along with Happy Hour pricing all night and Wine Wednesdays offer patrons the chance to purchase selected wines off the impressive wine list for half-price. Live Thursdays features free live music talents from 6 PM to 8 PM. In addition there is a daily Happy Hour Tuesday to Sunday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Aventine Glen Ellen has a full bar, on premise brewery, inside and outside dining, and fresh, farm-to-table modern Italian dishes. The location, nestled next to Sonoma Creek, is breathtaking and creates a tranquil setting—perfect for any kind of private event. In addition to restaurant dining, Aventine Glen Ellen and Chef Veronese offer a wide variety of catering options. Perfect for weddings, corporate events or private parties, clients can elect to rent the main dining room, the upstairs private dining room or any of the restaurant’s lovely patios. Chef Veronese can also provide food and staffing for off-site events.
Aventine Glen Ellen, from the partners who created the wildly popular Taverna Aventine in San Francisco and Aventine Hollywood, is the newest fine dining and entertainment hot spot in Wine Country. Aventine Glen Ellen is located at 14301 Arnold Dr. Glen Ellen, CA in the historic Jack London Village. Aventine Glen Ellen will feature a modern take on classic Italian food prepared by Chef Adolfo Veronese. It will have an on-site brewery, full bar and live music. It has private rooms and beautiful terraces available for banquets, private parties and weddings. Aventine Glen Ellen will be open for dinner six days a week from 4:30 PM to 10 PM (until 11 PM on Friday and Saturday) with Happy Hour Tuesday to Sunday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Additional Brunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Closed on Mondays.
