Body Found On Side Of Sonoma Co. Roadway: Sheriff
BREAKING: The death is being investigated as a possible homicide, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- A man was found dead Friday morning on the side of a road in unincorporated northeast Santa Rosa when authorities responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle. The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death as a possible homicide, as the victim was found near a van that had potential bullet holes, sheriff's officials said.

The man's body was discovered about 7:40 a.m. when deputies responded to the call in the 4500 block of Porter Creek Road -- near Calistoga Boulevard -- sheriff's officials said. A blue van was found parked on the side of the road and the man's body nearby.
