Body Recovered From Santa Rosa Creek
A death investigation was underway Monday after Santa Rosa police and firefighters pulled the body from the water.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Santa Rosa police said the body of a deceased man was found in Santa Rosa Creek on Monday morning. The Santa Rosa police and fire departments responded around 9:30 a.m. to an area of the creek west of the Pierson Street bridge where reports indicated a body was in the water, authorities said.
Officers and firefighters pulled the body ashore and determined it was that of a deceased man, officials with the Santa Rosa Fire Department said in a Twitter post.
The Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office is conducting the death investigation, police said.
