Discover the ancient peyote stitch in a fun, hands-on class and create a bold ring while learning the basics of bead weaving.
What you’ll do
Join
us for a playful dive into an ancient craft. The peyote stitch has been
used for thousands of years across many cultures. In this fun class
you’ll create a bold beautiful ring using the Even Count Flat Peyote
stitch. We’ll cover everything you need to confidently start your own
bead weaving journey.
All materials (thread, needles, beads) will
be provided for the workshop. If students would like to buy needles and
thread to take home they can purchase them directly from the instructor
after the workshop for a minimal fee. Resources for beading supplies
will also be provided.
Finger dexterity and good close-up vision are needed for this workshop. Bring your best reading glasses!
