In this playful half-day workshop, participants will create whimsical illuminated lanterns using vellum, paper, tissue, color, and light. Inspired by nature, memory, imagination, and celebratioTogether we will explore basic lantern-building techniques while creating meaningful objects to honor ancestors, loved ones, and the cycles of life. Participants are invited to add wishes, blessings, names, drawings, or messages of remembrance to their lanterns.This workshop is designed to be welcoming, creative, and accessible for beginners and mixed ages. Children are welcome with adult participation.Come create a lantern to carry into the autumn—a beacon of memory, beauty, and community light!
