The Sonoma Police Department in an update said they located the family of a child found near a bank.

SONOMA, CA — UPDATED: Police now say they've located the family of a 3-year-old boy who was found Tuesday morning near Bank of the West in the city of Sonoma.
ORIGINAL POST: A young child was found near a bank in the city of Sonoma, and authorities are looking to reunite him with his family.
The Sonoma Police Department found the 3-year-old boy near Bank of the West, 201 Napa St., the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday morning.

The boy is described as white with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and black pants with stars.
"If you know this child or his family, please call Sheriff's Dispatch immediately at 707-565-2121," Sonoma police said in a Nixle alert.
