Cops Hunting Armed Robber Of Bank In Nearby Napa

The white male suspect was wearing an A's hat and a blond wig. [Breaking]

NAPA COUNTY, CA – A man with a handgun and a backpack robbed the Umpqua Bank in Napa Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The suspect entered the bank at 3271 Browns Valley Road around 1:45 p.m. and demanded money at gunpoint, police said. He left with cash on foot.

The suspect is a white male between 25 and 30 years old. He wore a green Oakland A's baseball cap, a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a blond neck-length wig.

Napa police and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
