'Cops' TV Episode Featuring Sonoma County Deputies To Air: Report

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — An episode of the "Cops" TV show featuring Sonoma County sheriff's deputies is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. time tonight, Monday, Feb. 25, according to a local news report. The episode is titled "Not In My Back Yard" and was filmed back in August but is just now appearing on the Paramount TV network, the Press Democrat reported.

"This isn’t anything extreme or extraordinary but an example of what deputies would face on any given day in Sonoma County," sheriff's Spokesman Sgt. Spencer Crum told the newspaper about Monday’s episode.

Episodes featuring Santa Rosa police officers are set to follow Sonoma County deputies' TV debut, the newspaper reported.
