Saturday May 21, legendary local wine maker and park neighbor, Mike Benziger will lead a “Cycle to the Summit” fundraising ride at Jack London State Historic Park, along beautiful back country trails through oak and redwood forest to the park summit. Participants, limited to 25 will be rewarded with expansive views of the Valley of the Moon. Following the 10-mile round-trip is a gathering at the London Lodge Saloon (13740 Arnold Drive) in Glen Ellen to toast the morning’s success and raffle off prizes including a brand new top of the line bike.

Those interested in joining Mike on the ride are encouraged to help raise funds to support park trail restoration projects by using the website Go Fund Me to ask for pledges for every mile ridden. For every $50.00 raised you receive a raffle ticket to enter a drawing to win prizes including; the grand prize a Trek 820 Mountain bike – men's or women's donated by Wine Country Cyclery, a special bottle of Tribute wine and a Jack London annual park pass. The drawing will take place at the end of the ride at London Lodge Saloon.

Please bring mountain bike, helmet, water, and snacks. This is a strenuous ride on a dirt path with elevation gain the entire ride up to the summit. This ride is suitable to participants 18 and older.
There is no charge for this event however the $10 per car parking fee does apply

WHEN: Saturday, May 21; Start time 9:00am descending at approximately 11:30am
London Lodge Saloon Raffle 12:00pm – 1:00pm

WHERE: Meet in the ranch parking lot of Jack London State Historic Park 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen.
