In Sonoma County: Dance Lessons and Live Music!
SoCo Dance Beat's Hump Day Jump – Dance Lessons plus Ricky Ray Band (Texas Blues and Southern Rock)
Hump Day Jump will be geared to beginners, costs $10 and no partner is required.
The format is as follows:
7:00 PM Beginning instruction – very basic
7:30 PM Live dance music for practicing
8:15 PM Refresher lesson with extra moves
8:45 PM Band plays until 10:00 PM
Ricky Ray sings just about anything from Blues, Jazz, Pop Blues, Country Blues,,,, and Southern Soul and Roll with lots of covers from the 60’s and 70’s. Originally born and raised in North Carolina but now living in N. California for over 20 years (Wine Country).
Major music influences are Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Allman Brothers, Van Morrison, Ray Charles, James Taylor and Al Green.
