Detectives Seize Suspect In Sonoma
Months-long narcotics investigation ends in seized drugs and arrest in a Sonoma home.
SONOMA VALLEY, CA — A months-long investigation ended Saturday with a pound of suspected cocaine and an arrest inside a Sonoma home.
Sonoma County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a man in a home on the 100 block of Vista Drive at about 8 p.m.
Deputies zeroed in on a master bedroom, where they seized more than one pound of suspected cocaine, U.S. currency, packaging materials, a firearm, and ammunition.

Detectives arrested Cristian Castaneda, 44, on suspicion of narcotics sales and booked him into the county’s main adult detention facility. He was released on zero-bail.
