Streaming Judaism:  Two Classes with R’ Bella on Jewish Denominations

Reform? Orthodox? Kabbalist? Chassidic? Neo-Chassidic? Conservative? Reconstructionist? Humanist? Jewish Renewal?

 Oy… where did all these streams come from? What do they have in common and where do the differences lie?

Perhaps we should return to the good old days when people where ”just Jewish.” But was there ever such a time?

Join Rabbi Bella in exploring the myriad expressions of Judaism throughout the ages; yet the Jewish People still respond with one voice to the cry of “Hear, O Israel, Adonai is One.”

 Class is presented at no cost to members of Congregation Shir Shalom and the First Congregational Church. A suggested donation of $18 to our Tzedakah fund would be appreciated.
