Classic Sports Racing Group Charity Challenge

Lyn St. James, one of the first women to ever compete in the Indianapolis 500, will headline the Classic Sports Racing Group's 8th annual Charity Challenge at Infineon Raceway, Oct.1-2. All proceeds from the race weekend benefit Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.

The weekend will also feature a collection of incredible vintage racecars on the world-famous road course, including pre-war cars, sports racing cars and formula cars as well as production and GT cars. Lotus will be one of the featured models.

Race fans will also get to experience the road course each day with Track Rides for Charity, which allows anyone 16 or older to experience three laps around the track, at speed, in a vintage race car of their choice. Cost is as low as $50. The track parades are open to any car that is eligible for the Car Club Corral in the paddock, with a limit of 75 cars each day.
