As the political process addresses the issues, disinformation floods the public space, creating confusion and delay.”
To separate fact from fiction, Peter G. Joseph, MD will present a talk on Climate Reality, Thursday, November 17 at Andrews Hall in the Sonoma Community Center, located at 276 East Napa Street, beginning at 7:30 PM.

In January 2006, Dr. Joseph was chosen to participate in a training presented in Nashville, Tennessee by Vice President Al Gore to learn how to give Mr. Gore’s global warming presentation, on which the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” is based. Mr. Gore, recipient of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, has trained over 3600 people from the U.S. and around the world from all walks of life to give the presentation in their own voice. Dr. Joseph is an active speaker and keeps abreast of the latest developments in the realms of the science and politics of the climate crisis. He currently is northern California district manager for The Climate Reality Project and group leader for the Marin chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for audience questions. The event is free- of-charge but donations will be accepted to defray expenses. Refreshments will be served.
