
There’s nothing more potent in motor sports than the rumble of an 8,000 horsepower Top Fuel dragster or Funny Car barreling down the drag strip at 310 miles per hour. Its earth-pounding excitement and you’ll find it at Infineon Raceway during the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals, July 29-31. In addition to Top Fuel and Funny Car, you’ll also see action in Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Multiple track records were shattered in 2010, as well as a world record by Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Michael Phillips.
Plus, take a step back in time as we celebrate the NHRA’s 60th anniversary and host our 2nd annual Nostalgia Get-Together. It all adds up to a great weekend with the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. We’ll also honor racers Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, Shirley Muldowney and Don Garlits as part of our season-long Legends in Sonoma program.
Race fans can celebrate 60 years of National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) history during the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals at Infineon Raceway, July 29-31.

The raceway will host the 2nd annual Nostalgia Get-Together throughout the weekend, which will feature more than 30 vintage racing machines and hot rods in the paddock behind the main grandstand. Entry to the Get-Together is free with your paid admission into the raceway.
It’s an opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane with the Schrank Bros. Top Fuel dragster, or the Vagabond 1962 AA/Fuel Dragster formerly driven by Gary Ormsby. The area will feature vintage front-engine Top Fuel dragsters, nostalgia Funny Car floppers, A/Fuel dragsters, Gassers and more. Plus, you’ll get to the owners of these historical machines, as well as get autographs.

The raceway will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of the NHRA with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Legends in Sonoma program, featuring “Big Daddy” Don Garlits, Shirley Muldowney and Don “The Snake” Prudhomme. The drivers will be featured throughout the weekend, including an autograph session with Muldowney at the Wine Country Winner’s Circle on Friday at 5:30 p.m., as well as an autograph and Track Talk Q&A session on Saturday at 12:45 p.m., also at the Wine Country Winner’s Circle.
Fans can also get up-close and personal with these legends on Sunday, July 31, with the special O’Reilly Auto Parts Legends in Sonoma ticket package, which includes a chance to attend a Q&A and track walk with Garlits, Muldowney and Prudhomme on the drag strip before final eliminations. This Sunday package includes a Main Grandstand ticket, as well as all-day Thunder Alley access for just $80.
