Learn Meditation "The Art of Being Human"

At Shambhala Training programs, we discover our basic goodness through the practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation. This simple yet profound meditation technique can benefit anyone from any background.

Shambhala Training Level I is suited for beginning and experienced meditators. The weekend program includes group meditation practice, talks on the Shambhala Buddhist teachings, individual sessions with a meditation instructor, group discussion, and ending with a celebratory reception.

Level I starts Friday night at 7:00 p.m. with registration and a public talk. The talk is free and open to the general public. The cost for the full weekend program is $150 general tuition; full-time students’ $90; and repeating students $40. Scholarships are available. For more information, to reserve your space for the program, or to request a scholarship, go to www.sonoma.shambhala.org. or contact Rachel at satellitepubs1@comcast.net.
