Movie: Klondike Fever

It’s movie night at Jack London State Park on Saturday, Sept. 29. Picnic time starts at 5:30 p.m., with the movie, Klondike Fever, to show at sunset, around 7:30 p.m., in the winery ruins.

Klondike Fever (1980) stars Jeff East, Rod Steiger and Angie Dickinson. East plays Jack London in 1898 as he sets out from San Francisco to the Klondike goldfields of Canada. The bold spirit battles criminal types and wild conditions in his quest for new adventure.

Tickets are $10 general admission, with children under 12 free. General admission chairs are not provided, so bring blankets or lawn chairs.

VIP tickets are $25, which gets you preferred seating and a complimentary glass of wine. For tickets, go to www.jacklondon.com, or buy them at the door.

Wine, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Bring a flashlight.
