Summer Pruning Workshop at Sonoma Garden Park

Learn how and why to prune fruit trees, selected vegetables, roses, perennials and shrubs on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Sonoma Garden Park. Accomplished landscape designer Maile Arnold will discuss summer vs. dormant pruning, and provide hands-on pruning demonstrations. Please bring your own pruning tools and gloves.

The workshop fee is $10 for members of the Sonoma Ecology Center, $15 for non-members. All proceeds benefit the Sonoma Garden Park, an educational community farm, garden, and park, managed by the Sonoma Ecology Center. Sonoma Garden Park was a gift from Pauline Bond, andis located at 19996 Seventh Street East, between MacArthur and Denmark Streets in Sonoma.
