The 'Favorite' Child: Mother's Day Photo

NORTH BAY, CA — Whether it's through his or her personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of it all, a daughter or son becomes a reflection of the person who raised a child. With Mother's Day right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers to share their favorite mother-daughter or mother-son photos and sentiments.

This mother-son photo was sent in by Spencer Seidler of Greenbrae, pictured in June 2018 atop Angel Island with his mother, Linda Reed, of Santa Rosa.

"Can you post this so I'm the favorite of three kids come this Mother's Day?" Seidler wrote in an email to Patch. "Moms do have favorites, right?"
