Free Holiday Parking At Sonoma County Regional Parks For Veterans And Active Duty Military
The office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed Nov. 11).

Santa Rosa, CA – October 20, 2020 – In honor of Veterans Day, military members, veterans and their families will receive free parking at all Sonoma County Regional Parks on the holiday and the preceding weekend. Active duty military, veterans and their families can visit county-managed parks and trails with a special pass that waives the $7 day-use parking fee from Saturday, Nov. 7, through Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Visitors can obtain the parking pass by showing a valid military identification card, a Veterans Affairs card, a veteran’s identification card, or an honorable discharge record. Sonoma County residency isn’t required.
Passes are available now through Veterans Day at the staffed entrances to Doran Beach in Bodega Bay and Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa (Newanga Avenue entrance only from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m.)

Passes also are available by calling Sonoma County Regional Parks’ office at (707) 565-2041 to arrange for pick up in the office parking lot, 2300 County Center Drive, in Santa Rosa. The office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed Nov. 11).
In addition to the Veterans Day pass, Regional Parks offers a year-round distinguished veterans day-use pass, which provides free parking to disabled war veterans, former prisoners of war and Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.
