FRESH PAINT: A Hot! Hot! Hot! Night in Havana
Sonoma Valley Museum of Art presents Fresh Paint, "A Hot! Hot! Hot! Night in Havana" on Saturday, June 25

The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art is proud to invite the public to attend the annual Fresh Paint event on Saturday June 25 at Hanna Boys Center. This year, “A Hot! Hot! Hot! Night in Havana,” promises to be a fantastic evening celebrating Cuban culture while benefitting the museum’s exhibition programs and arts education programs within the museum and Sonoma Valley schools.
From 5:30pm to 10:30pm, guests will enjoy Cuban inspired passed hors d’oeuvres and seated dinner by Catherine Venturini of Cuvee and Olive & Vine while sipping specialty mojitos by Salvador Picazo Chavez and Gustosos Aguardiente rum.
Enjoy a full bar and donated fine wines from Kivelstadt Cellars, Barbed Oak Vineyard, Hughes Family Vineyards and Corner 103. Be transported to old Havana with colorful, amazing stilt walking Moko Jumbies; live cigar rolling by Nestor Castillo; and painted fedoras by Marcie Waldron. Live entertainment will be by Sonoma’s own Ellen Toscano, previously 10 years with Beach Blanket Babylon and now with Transcendence Theatre Company’s Broadway Under the Stars. Guests will also be invited to dancing after dinner to the Latin rhythms of Cuban band Los Boleros.
