Here is How Much Rain Fell In Petaluma, Sonoma County

National Weather Service observation sites throughout Sonoma County gave rainfall totals for Sunday, with over 4 in. recorded at one site.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The latest winter storm to move through Sonoma County dropped more than an inch of rain Sunday in many parts of the county, according to 24-hour rainfall totals published early Monday morning by the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area.

In Petaluma, about a half-inch of rain was measured at multiple observation sites, according to the NWS. Venado, about 7 miles northwest of Guerneville, had the most rain in the county, with 4.04 inches recorded between 3 a.m. Sunday and 3 a.m. Monday, NWS said. Meanwhile, only about .41 of an inch fell at an observation station in Bodega Bay.
