SONOMA, CA — Diesel, a 5-year-old Golden Doodle, is growing tired of his humans being home all the time. His hu-mom, Sheilah Peterson of Sonoma, is a hairdresser at The Powder Room salon in Santa Rosa but has been out of work since mid-March when Sonoma County and the state of California implemented shelter-at-home orders.

With all the dog grooming places also closed, Diesel, much like the world, was starting to look a little shaggy. So on Wednesday, he sat tall in a kitchen chair and got a touch-up from his hu-mom. Rumor has it that he also likes to sit in the front seat of her car.

Thanks to Madeline Peterson, Sheilah's daughter — who is missing her senior year activities because of the coronavirus public health orders that have also canceled school — for capturing this sweet photo!
