Majestic Clydesdales: Sonoma County Photos Of The Week
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with your local Patch, and your work could be featured.
SONOMA, CA — Just a block from historic downtown Sonoma Plaza is the home of several majestic Clydesdale horses. Generations of the Clydesdales have been raised on the property and when they are brought out from the barn for feeding, they never fail to attract a crowd. Thanksgiving week, local photographer Al Francis was in the area and captured photos of young Clydesdales as well as full-grown ones.
"They are very friendly and come up to the fence to have their noses rubbed," he said. "One horse had red lipstick left on his nose when a Sonoma woman gave the young horse a kiss."
Thanks so much for sharing these photos, Al!
