Man Arrested For Sharing Bong With Teens In Park

The arresting Sebastopol officer initially thought the smoke was from a fire.

SONOMA COUNTY, Ca - A man was arrested after an officer allegedly witnessed the man pass a marijuana bong to two teens in Sebastopol Friday afternoon.

At about 3:15 p.m., an officer saw large amounts of smoke rising from an area of the gazebo at the Sebastopol Central Park, located at Petaluma Avenue and McKinley Street, according to police.

The officer initially thought the smoke might have been coming from a fire.

When the officer approached they saw a man, later identified as Milo Serp of Santa Rosa, pass a marijuana bong to two young boys who were with him. The boys then used the bong, smoking the marijuana inside, police said.

The officer determined the two boys were 15 years old. The officer then arrested Serp on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and furnishing marijuana.

Serp was also arrested for violating his probation for a prior trespassing conviction.

He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail, according to police.
