Mountain Lion Spotted Multiple Times In Sebastopol
The sighting comes about a week after a mountain lion was seen roaming around San Francisco.
SEBASTOPOL, CA — A mountain lion was seen within the city limits of Sebastopol Sunday morning, according to the Sebastopol Police Department.
Police said they had received several reports of sightings, including in backyards in the area of Jewel Avenue, Walnut Avenue and Shaun Court.
The big cat was traveling westbound when it was last seen on First Street.

The Police Department recommended bringing pets inside and staying vigilant. Police officers and officers from North Bay Animal Services were in the neighborhood looking for the mountain lion as of about 11 a.m. Sunday.
